Pros and Cons of blogging

Pros and Cons of using blogging in the traditional classroom:

Pros: Open forum for questions/ enhanced classroom discussion
Online collabortion between students
Can be used for peer to peer help
Can be used to post assignments
Classroom management
Communication between parents/faculty/community

Cons: Can be used negatively, for a personal agenda
It may need to be required in order to keep to blog active
